WCMA Job Listing - This is the jobs page of the WCMA website that displays current openings for local government professionals. WCMA does not have any employees. HOW DO I POST A JOB? WCMA posts job announcements per request. Non-manager, non-assistant manager, or non-intern positions will adhere to a fee of $50 for member communities and $100 for non-member communities. Manager, Assistant Manager and Intern positions will be $50 for non-member communities and free for member communities. Any job posting sent out via email through the executive director to the WCMA membership will be $150 for members and $250 for non-members. If no closing date is given all postings will expire after 30 days. To submit a Job Advertisement for posting on the WCMA website, send the job advertisement as a text document or in an e-mail to wcma@niu.edu. Please provide a plain text narrative, no graphics or logos. An email with a link to the posting, and if necessary, an invoice will be sent to you once the job is posted. WCMA does not accept credit card payments for job posting fees.
The ICMA JobCenter - The ICMA JobCenter offers a database of current job openings for local government professionals who are ICMA members. Positions listed are with local governments, related local government and nonprofit organizations, and universities. The JobCenter also offers an online resume service and job agents. The Municipality - The Municipality is published by the League of Wisconsin Municipalities and is a good source for in-state job opportunities.
